Why We Built API Modernizer

API Modernizer is built by a team of integration specialists — architects and engineers with 11+ years of hands-on experience across MuleSoft, Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and Spring Boot. We've designed, delivered, and untangled large integration estates from the inside.

We watched the same story play out again and again: MuleSoft estates that started small, grew to hundreds of flows, and became impossible to modernise. The cost estimates were too high, the timelines too long, and the DataWeave specialists too few.

So migrations were deferred. The MuleSoft invoice arrived every year, larger than before. And organisations stayed trapped in an architecture they had long outgrown.

We built API Modernizer because we saw the migration problem for what it is: an automation problem, not an unsolvable-complexity problem. The work is repetitive and verifiable — it doesn't require years, it requires the right tools, running where your code already lives, not on someone else's servers.
